Club Plate Registration


The Bellarine Historic Vehicle Club Inc, is accredited by VicRoads under the Club Permit Scheme

To be eligible you must first join the Club as a Member and we encourage all new applicants to comply with the Club's Statement of Expectation which is attached

You would then need a current Roadworthy Certificate as all club permit vehicles manufactured after 1st January 1949 require a RWC for Club Permit purposes.

It is optional for vehicles manufactured before 31st December 1948 to obtain a Roadworthy Certificate, as VicRoads authorised Club Scrutineers or Officials may inspect and declare if the vehicle is safe to use on the road for Club Permit purposes, BHVC have a Club scrutineer for this role.

When a club permit is obtained the BHVC Inc, will need detailed photographs of the vehicle with the Club Permit plate attached.
